In the last week of January, Nuclep, during a meeting with a representative of the National Treasury, had the opportunity to present the main updates reported in the areas of Defense and Oil & Gas. The meeting made it possible to present what has been done by the body and the impact that the procedures can bring over time.

Nuclep, Nuclebrás Equipamentos Pesados, met with Denilson Ribeiro Evangelista, representative of the National Treasury, to present the main Updates made in the areas of Defense and Oil & Gas. The meeting took place at the end of January and, in addition to the main conversation, the members also took the opportunity to give an overview of other segments, such as works under development and procedures involving partnerships with other companies.

Construction progress of Block 40 for LABGENE was passed on in detail to the representative of the National Treasury

Denilson Ribeiro Evangelista, in addition to being the representative of the National Treasury, is also chairman of Nuclep's Fiscal Council.

Despite being inserted in the context of the company, he needs to closely analyze the progress of processes to ensure quality and accuracy.

It was Evangelista's first time on the company's premises and he was able to visit spaces such as the factory floor and the Private Port Terminal.

Also on the occasion, news regarding the work on Block 40, carried out at the Núcleo Elétrica Energy Generation Laboratory, the LABGENE.

The procedure in question is a full-size prototype of the Brazilian nuclear submarine and has the participation of Nuclep for the construction of a specific sector where the LABGENE reactor will be located — Block 40.

Regarding the visit, Evangelista made a point of praising the Nuclep team based on what he observed from the updates presented: “I was impressed with the commitment of Nuclep workers in full harmony with the company's senior management, which demonstrates a joint and organized work by the institution. The ease of access to the departments and the transparency of the information requested during visits to the units was very satisfactory”.

During the most recent visit, Evangelista joined other employees such as the Tower Production Superintendent, Advisor to the Executive Board and the Contracts Manager to observe the updates from different perspectives.

President of Nuclep talks about the future of the company

The president of Nuclep, Carlos Seixas, also commented on the next steps in the construction of Block 40 and how the company is, from that point on, looking for other opportunities to provide services in the energy transmission area.

As for the plans, he mentioned the possibility of signing new equipment supply contracts for the nuclear power plant in cove 3.

It is worth mentioning that Nuclep entered into a partnership with Frank's International, a renowned American company, to provide services.

During the contract, soldering operations for more than 270 connectors will be provided.

The set will be used on Brazilian soil and applied to previously installed oil platforms.

During the visit of the president of Nuclep's Supervisory Board, the tubes were in the manufacturing process, causing admiration in Evangelista when he saw the project at an advanced stage of development.
