The Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP) will hold the fourth webinar of the Online CO2 Forum tomorrow (Tuesday / 11.10), starting at 6 PM. The theme will be “CO2 Storage: Risk Assessment and Management”. The webinar will be free and registration can be done at this link.
The discussion will primarily focus on two issues:
- How do typical Reservoir Risk Assessment and Management tools perceive and contribute to Carbon Storage for this new horizon that is presented?
- How does Brazil fit into this context?
The event will also address how the correct selection of the reservoir is fundamental for the safe storage of carbon, as well as promote discussions focused on methods and actions to prevent possible leaks, such as the analysis of geological formations, consequent permeability, and a high-quality geological seal.
