Cheap Electric Car From China Costs R$ 14 Thousand
Basically, this subscription is a fixed loan for 60 months. This program is available for all five trim levels of the electric car, including the entry-level model and the more expensive version called Gameboy 300 km.
In terms of value, the mini electric car with the battery included costs 32,800 RMB, equivalent to R$ 23,200 in direct conversion. As for the car without the battery, the price drops to 19,800 RMB, or R$ 14,010. After completing the purchase, the driver will pay a fixed amount of 198 RMB, equivalent to R$ 140, for 60 months.

There are two engine options, both featuring a front electric motor, which can be 27 horsepower and 8.6 kgfm or 41 horsepower and 11.2 kgfm of torque in the more expensive version. The cheap electric car is offered with four battery options, including LFP of 9.3 kWh and 120 km of NEDC range; LFP of 13.9 kWh and 170 km of range; NMC of 9 kWh and 120 km of range; and NMC of 13.8 kWh and 170 km of range. Its average price range is approximately 32,800 – 52,800, equivalent to R$ 23,200 to R$ 37,300.
Highlight for the Gameboy version, which has a more aggressive style and slightly larger dimensions compared to the standard versions, measuring 3,061/1,659/1,520 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,010 mm.
The low-cost electric car also features the more powerful electric motor of 41 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque and also comes with larger batteries with LFP for 17.3 kWh and 200 km of CLTC range; LFP for 26.5 kWh and 300 km of range. Its price range is 55,800 – 72,800 RMB, equivalent to R$ 39,400 to R$ 51,500.

Despite the arrival of new competitors in the market for the most sold electric cars in China, sales records remain in the past, and the introduction of this new battery subscription option focuses on reviving sales of the urban model.
This new option shows how the electric car market in China is becoming increasingly diversified and offering more and more affordable options. The expectation is that this type of service will arrive in Brazil with a similar price level and diversity.
