Registrations Open for Free Qualification Courses in Areas Such as Technology, Fashion, Finance, and Customer Service at Senac Units in Belo Horizonte, Contagem, and Betim
Senac announced the opening of around 1,200 spots for free qualification courses at its units in the Greater Belo Horizonte area, offering an opportunity for training in strategic areas such as technology, marketing, fashion, finance, and customer service. With registrations already open, the training is aimed at those looking to enter or improve their skills in the job market, especially in the areas of Trade and Services.
This initiative is part of the institution’s commitment and the Fecomércio System in Minas Gerais to qualify the local workforce and promote the development of commerce and tourism in the region. Classes are expected to start in November and will extend until December, with classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening, accommodating different student profiles and their routines.
Accessible and Inclusive Professional Qualification
The spots are offered through the Senac+ programs and the Senac Free Program (PSG). Senac+ is aimed at students recommended by companies in the goods, services, and tourism trade, business unions, and associations that serve vulnerable groups, provided these institutions are duly accredited by Senac. The PSG allocates spots to all individuals with a per capita family income of up to two minimum wages, democratizing access to quality professional training.

For the president of the Fecomércio MG System, Sesc, Senac, and Business Unions, Nadim Donato, “these 1,200 spots are just the beginning of a project to expand qualification opportunities through Senac in Minas, aiming to strengthen the Trade and Services sector in the state.”
Thus, Fernando Barros, director of Senac Belo Horizonte (Barro Preto unit), highlighted the importance of meeting the demand for qualified labor in the region: “There is a growing demand for skilled professionals, and with these courses, we seek to help fill this gap in the local job market.”
