City of Pouso Alegre Hosted Representatives of the State Government of Minas Gerais and Some of the Main Executives of the Regional Industry
Becomex recently hosted an event in partnership with Deloitte, featuring representatives from the state government and some of the main executives from the industries in the South of Minas Gerais to discuss the local economic scenario.
The meeting took place in the city of Pouso Alegre, at the Hotel Marques Plaza. During the panel “Tax & Wines, the Scenario and Trends for increasing the competitiveness of companies in Minas Gerais,” collaborative tax strategies for the supply chain of companies were discussed.
“The South of Minas Gerais region is a strategic location from both a logistical standpoint and in terms of concentration of important industries for Brazil. The idea of the event was to contribute with the best strategies, discussing possibilities to bring more competitiveness and economic efficiency to the companies in the region, regardless of the segment,” commented João Marcelo de Queiroz, Manager of Special Regimes at Becomex.
