Ocyan Has Dozens of Job Openings for Its Decommissioning Project. The Company Focuses on Inclusion and Diversity of New Employees.

Ocyan, a company operating in the oil and gas sector, has 50 job openings for its newly acquired decommissioning activities in oilfield pipeline management. The positions are for offshore work on a chartered vessel by the company. Applications can be submitted on the Ocyan website, on the Our People page.

Ocyan Aims to Be More Inclusive with Its Decommissioning Project

According to Ocyan’s Executive Manager of Subsea Construction, André Magalhães, the decommissioning project is new at Ocyan and requires technical quality from professionals with experience in line installation activities. There will be 30 job openings specifically for these positions, some requiring higher education or secondary education.

Selection processes will begin this August, and the company will have two hiring windows, the first in October and another in November. Among the main job openings are those for Deck Operator, Deck Supervisor, Lines Installation Engineer, Operations Manager, Mechanical Technician, Radio Operator, Safety Technician, Hydraulic Technician, Electrical Technician, and others. Like all other selection processes, Ocyan aims to meet diversity criteria in its hiring.
