Oil States signs new contract with Petrobras for offshore maintenance and inspection of 5 FPSOs

Oil States signed a contract with Petrobras to inspect and carry out offshore maintenance on 5 FPSOs. The company already serves 13 vessels in Brazil and in order to meet the new demand, it has opened new job vacancies in Macaé.

This week, Oil States Brasil announced that it closed a new essential contract with Petrobras. Under the new contract, the company will carry out offshore planning, inspection and maintenance on cranes for five Petrobras FPSO platforms. The new contract between Oil States and the state company will last three years and is already generating job opportunities in the Macaé region.

Oil States serves 13 FPSOs in the Brazilian market

In a statement posted on the LinkedIn social network, Oil States claimed to have a broad knowledge of the market, together with experience in the production of winches and cranes and its own normative library, which means that Oil States is able to perform the contract with Petrobras to FPSOs with safety and operational efficiency.

The offshore services company also recalled that it has a contract with a similar scope, where it serves 13 FPSOs in the Brazilian market, in addition to the 5 Petrobras FPSOs, shaping the expansion strategy of the marketshare of this line of business.

Recently, the company also finalized a maintenance and inspection service contract for 12 cranes on an offshore rig, belonging to a group in the drilling sector in the country.

Oil States generates jobs and income

Oil States Brasil, in addition to closing the contract with Petrobras, is also offering several job openings in Macaé (RJ). Check out the opportunities offered by the company below:

Electrician

Requirements: technical training in electrical, experience in electronic control systems for cranes, inspections and interventions in electronic control systems.

Mechanical Climber N3, N1.

Requirements: Technical training in mechanics or related areas, experience in lifting equipment and engine maintenance.

Offshore Planner

Requirements: availability for travel and experience in maintenance planning and inspection of offshore equipment.

In addition to these vacancies, the company is also offering internship vacancies for occupational safety technicians in Macaé. It is only necessary to be enrolled and attending the course and to be available to work from 8am to 15pm.
