The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is offering a unique opportunity for students from all over Brazil. With registrations open, there are 16 free and completely EAD courses, covering areas such as writing, technology and much more.
EAD courses are MOOCs (Massive Open Courses and EAD) and combine video classes with interactive elements, such as forums, tests and simulators, to enrich students' learning experience. Available on the GGTE – Unicamp MOOC platform, the EAD courses are a partnership with the Unicamp Educational Technologies Management Group (GGTE/Unicamp).
How do distance learning courses work?
Classes are divided into smaller chapters, accompanied by complementary materials. Students can take notes in a virtual notebook, while teachers and managers track progress and manage forums of discussion. At the end of each chapter, students take tests to check their understanding of the concepts.
