International Recognition Places Young Miner from Juiz de Fora Among the 100 Child Prodigies Worldwide, After Award Ceremony in London Highlights His Academic Journey
The 16-year-old student Caio Martins Temponi do Valle, a native of Juiz de Fora (MG), was chosen as one of the 100 young prodigies on the planet in 2025. He represented Brazil at the Global Child Prodigy Awards 2025, held on June 26, in London, England. The award, promoted by the Charles Group, honors young talents from various fields.
This is not the first time the miner has received international recognition, as he has been acknowledged in two other international awards: the Notables USA and the Notable Brazilian Awards. In one of them, he earned the title of the youngest Brazilian to accumulate admissions to universities.
Recognized Dedication
For Caio, this new achievement is especially meaningful. “This will be the third international award I have received in the field of education. It is a huge reward for all the study, all the dedication over the years,” he told the newspaper Correio.

According to her, Caio has always dedicated himself with love and patience. “Even when he was tired, he didn’t give up. He remained firm and focused, and today he is reaping what he has sown,” she added.
History of Admissions
The young miner has 18 admissions to universities in Brazil on his resume. Among them, he ranked first in administration, law, engineering, physical education, and even medicine.
Moreover, he was the youngest candidate to pass the highly competitive Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).
Another significant achievement is his involvement in high IQ societies, as he is a member of four of them. He also won a gold medal in an International Mathematics Olympiad, demonstrating versatility across knowledge areas.
The Young Man’s Plans for the Future
Currently, Caio studies law at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), in addition to taking distance learning mathematics courses at Uniasselvi.
He had previously been accepted into the University of Brasília (UnB) but chose to stay in his hometown.
For the future, his goal is clear. “Since I was a child, I have dreamed of being a judge. I have been preparing myself from an early age, studying a lot, and I want to stay focused in this direction until I achieve this purpose,” he stated.

The title of “highest IQ in the world” is one of the most controversial points surrounding Kim. Comments from the community on X highlight that there is no reliable evidence that he has achieved an IQ of 276, as he claims.
According to these comments, his own Wikipedia page uses sources linked to websites managed by him.
Furthermore, Kim maintains self-promotional portals related to cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, and global advice.
Highest IQ in the World? Vice Investigation
A report by Vice reinforced these doubts. The outlet accessed a test used by Kim and presented it to IQ measurement specialists.
All said it is impossible for the score to be 276.
For the specialists, the most likely number would be between 160 and 172. Still, Vice revealed that in a test called VNPT-II, Dr. Kirk Raymond Butt would have assigned 210 points to Kim.
The controversy increases because Kim supposedly adjusted the calculation. He used a standard deviation of 24, above the common 15, to artificially inflate his score.
This way, he sought to justify the supposed record he promotes on social media.
Repercussions
Kim’s statements mix bold investments, religion, politics, and disputes over intelligence.
