Ouro Preto Óleo e Gás already held a 35% stake in the oil fields Pescada, Arabaiana, and Dentão located in shallow waters of the Potiguar Basin (Polo Pescada), in the state of RN.

The average production of Polo Pescada from January to June 2020 was approximately 260 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 190 thousand m³/day of gas.

“The closing of the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of precedent conditions, such as approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).” Petrobras informed.

Petrobras is also selling, in shallow waters of offshore Potiguar, the fields of Ubarana, Cioba, Oeste de Ubarana, Agulha.
