Meet the 10 Companies Pre-Qualified by Petrobras to Compete for Its LNG Regasification Terminal in Salvador, Bahia.

Ten companies are competing to lease Petrobras’s LNG terminal in Salvador, Bahia. Check out the oil companies, distributors, and traders of gas and LNG companies pre-qualified by the state-owned company. TechnipFMC begins this semester the manufacturing of the rigid pipe lines for the Mero 1 field, by Petrobras

About Petrobras LNG Regasification Terminal in Bahia (TR-BA)

The Bahia LNG Regasification Terminal (TR-BA) consists of an island-type pier with all the necessary facilities for berthing and mooring an FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit) directly to the pier and a supply ship alongside the FSRU.

The transfer of LNG is done directly between the FSRU and the supplier in a side-by-side configuration. The maximum regasification flow of TR-BA is 20 million m³/d.

The pipeline integrated into the terminal is 45 km long and 28 inches in diameter, connecting TR-BA to two delivery points, the São Francisco do Conde Pressure Reduction Station and the São Sebastião do Passé Flow Control Station.
