Jackery, known worldwide for its renewable energy and portability solutions, surprised the public at CES 2025 with a solar panel in the shape of a tile.

With announcements of cutting-edge technologies, the company reinforced its leadership in the sector by presenting products that combine efficiency, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Highlights include the solar tiles Jackery Solar Roof XBC, the modular storage system Explorer 5000 Plus, and the portable solar panel SolarSaga 100 Prime. We will detail each new technology from the company.

Jackery Solar Roof XBC Tiles

The Solar Roof XBC introduces a unique 150° curved design nicknamed “smile”. This innovation is not only aesthetic but also functional.

The curvature enhances integration with conventional roofs, catering to residences and bolder architectural projects.

Its ultrathin crystalline silicon solar cells, with a thickness of only 0.13 mm, provide energy efficiency exceeding 25%, resulting in a generation of up to 170 watts per square meter.

Available in obsidian black and terracotta colors, these tiles promise to harmonize with any building style.

Additionally, their installation is straightforward, being compatible with over 90% of mounting systems available in the market. This makes them a viable solution for both modern residences and more complex commercial projects.

Explorer 5000 Plus

Jackery also introduced the Explorer 5000 Plus, an energy storage station that redefines the concept of energy autonomy.

With an initial capacity of 5 kWh, the system can be expanded to up to 60 kWh with the use of additional batteries.

This modularity makes it ideal for both off-grid residences and energy emergencies in urban environments.

The Explorer 5000 Plus comes equipped with an integrated inverter and supports MC4 connections, allowing easy integration with existing solar systems.

Its output power impressively reaches 7,200 watts. Furthermore, the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) feature ensures continuous power, even in situations of electrical network failure.

Another innovation is the Jackery Smart Transfer Switch (STS), which enables full hybrid charging in just 102 minutes.

The system can also be controlled via an app, allowing users to monitor and optimize energy consumption in real-time. Equipped with LiFePO4 batteries, the Explorer 5000 Plus ensures safety, durability, and consistent performance.

SolarSaga 100 Prime

For outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts, Jackery launched the SolarSaga 100 Prime, a portable solar panel designed for trailers and boats.

Equipped with bifacial modules and IBC back-contact cells, the panel generates up to 20% more energy than competing models, even in low-light conditions. Its overall efficiency exceeds 25%, ensuring reliable power for any journey.

With IP68 water resistance certification and a lightweight design, the SolarSaga 100 Prime is built to withstand extreme temperatures and minimize noise caused by the wind.

Its compact dimensions, 986 x 552 x 29 mm, facilitate transport and installation in recreational vehicles and boats.

Jackery Reaffirms Commitment To Sustainable Innovation

Jackery had already caught attention at CES 2024 with the launch of the solar generator robot Mars Bot, capable of autonomously charging devices.

This year, the company raised the bar by integrating even more sophisticated technologies focused on practicality.

The Solar Roof XBC tiles and the Explorer 5000 Plus, for example, demonstrate how it is possible to unite sustainability, efficiency, and accessibility in modern energy solutions.

CES 2025 served as the ideal stage for Jackery to reinforce its position as a pioneer in the sector. With products ranging from residential solutions to portable options for outdoor adventures, the brand is shaping the future of renewable energy.

In addition to the new launches, Jackery presented improvements in the SolarSaga 200 and 500X panels, which now offer greater efficiency and portability.

These advances cater to consumers seeking reliable energy in a more compact format.
