The P-71 Platform from Petrobras Arrives in Brazil and Will Generate About 6 Thousand Jobs at Jurong Aracruz Shipyard

According to Petrobras’ schedule, the P-71 oil platform, of the FPSO type, finally arrived yesterday (15) in Brazilian waters and is already being prepared for the start of the integration and module assembly works.

The unit will be allocated to the Sururu Field, in the Santos Basin, in Rio de Janeiro. The initial construction of the P-71 was completed on December 3 in China and approved by Petrobras. Since then, the platform has begun its return to Brazil, with an estimated travel time of about 3 months, being guided by ocean tugboats.
