Electrical Technician – Rio de Janeiro
Responsibilities
- Comply with the instructions in the “Standing Orders of the Chief Engineer”;
- Keep all electrical and lighting devices and installations functioning properly;
- Immediately report any irregularities observed during inspection to the duty officer in the Engine Room;
- Assist the Chief Engineer in controlling the inventory of spare parts for electrical materials and equipment;
- Check if new equipment installed on board is compatible with the onboard power supply; etc.
Job Requirements
- Technician in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar course.
- Intermediate English
- Desirable experience on AHTS, PLSV vessels, or more modern vessels
- CBSP Certificate
- Desirable NR-33 Certificates (minimum 16h), NR-35, CERR, CESS
