Electrical Technician - Rio de Janeiro
Activities
- Comply with what is described in the “Standing Orders of the Chief Engineer”;
- Keep all appliances, electrical and lighting installations working properly;
- Immediately report to the duty officer in the Engine Room any irregularities observed during the inspection;
- Assist the Chief Engineer in controlling the stock of spare parts for electrical materials and equipment;
- Verify that new equipment installed on board is compatible with the electrical supply on board; etc
job requirements
- Technician in Electronics, Electrotechnics or similar course.
- Intermediary English
- Desirable experience on AHTS, PLSV or more modern vessels
- CBSP Certificate
- Desirable Certificates NR-33 (minimum 16h), NR-35, CERR, CESS
