The contract is a result of the extraordinary capacity offer launched by the carrier in early December in replacement of the Public Call 03 (CP03/21). The new contract to be signed between the Central-South distributors and Petrobras will guarantee supply to the captive markets of each company starting in January 2022.
The product under negotiation, the only feasible option among those offered by the supplier, is for a four-year contract and has new pricing conditions, with an adjustment of approximately 44% compared to the price of the current contract for the first year. Other offered products would imply adjustments of up to 200% compared to the current price.
