Alert in the fuel market: Analysts and a former director of ANP warn that oil prices may worsen in the coming months due to global instability.
The parties submitted a response last week to inquiries from Cade regarding the risks of a potential coordination between GásLocal (partnership of White Martins and Petrobras for LNG distribution) and Golar Distribuidora (BR/Golar), given that Petrobras will have direct/indirect participation in both LNG companies.
BR and Golar argue, among other points, that Golar Distribuidora does not intend to buy natural gas from Petrobras and that the state-owned company has already signaled that it intends to fully exit the capital of BR Distribuidora.
Still, today, according to the parties, the oil company, while a shareholder of BR with a 37.5% stake, would hold an indirect ownership stake in Golar Distribuidora of at most 18.75%, without control over activities.
