Petrobras Informed About Hiring More Than 2,000 New Employees Who Are on Reserve List from Previous Examinations.
The giant in the Brazilian oil and gas sector, Petrobras, takes a significant step by announcing the hiring of more than 2,000 new employees who have passed its recent selection processes. The information was released by the company last Monday (31). The company also announced that it is committed to opening an additional 458 opportunities in a new examination by the end of this year (2023).
Call for Candidates on Petrobras’ Reserve List
Petrobras said it is prepared to call a total of 2,170 candidates who succeeded in its examinations and are currently on the reserve list. This move should be seen as a great opportunity for those seeking a career at Petrobras and who were approved in the selection processes of 2021 and 2023.

Hiring of Higher Education Professionals at Petrobras
The company also announced the hiring of 1,350 new higher education professionals who were approved in Petrobras’ examination held in 2021.
These professionals will be allocated in different engineering areas, as well as in positions such as systems analysts, data scientists, administrators, economists, geologists, and geophysicists.
The most recent technical public examination of 2023 is expected to provide Petrobras with 820 new employees, who will be allocated in the production of the Búzios Field and in the Refining sector.
The Next Petrobras Examination Will Be Later in 2023
In addition to calling all candidates on the two existing reserve lists, a new public selection process is expected to be opened by the end of this year with another 458 technical positions. Petrobras announced that the notice will reserve 20% of the positions for Black candidates and another 20% for candidates with disabilities (beyond the 5% required by law).

In addition to Petrobras, the Social Security Technology and Information Company (Dataprev) opened a public examination with 222 positions for middle and higher level jobs. Salaries can reach R$ 8,7 thousand, and opportunities are distributed across various states, including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Federal District, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará, and Santa Catarina.
Applications, with fees of R$ 100 for higher education and R$ 80 for middle level, can be made until August 18th on the Cebraspe website. The objective tests are scheduled for October 1st and will consist of questions on Portuguese language, English language, logical reasoning, current events, information security legislation and data protection, and specific knowledge.
The offered positions require a higher education degree recognized by the MEC and include processing analyst, information technology analyst, occupational safety engineer, occupational physician, occupational nursing assistant, and occupational safety technician. In addition to salaries, hired employees will be entitled to benefits such as meal assistance, pre-school or school reimbursement, assistance for specialized treatment for children with disabilities, health care, complementary pension, profit-sharing, and variable compensation based on performance.
