Petrobras Is Preparing to Open New Selection Process With Vacancies for Technicians, According to Corporate Affairs Director, Clarice Coppetti.
Petrobras has confirmed the launch of a new announcement that will bring a range of opportunities for technical-level professionals. This announcement comes right after the completion of a recent exam and promises about 450 new job openings with salaries ranging from R$3,000 to R$7,000. The specific positions have not yet been disclosed, but the expectation is that the announcement will be published within three months with new information.
The Brazilian state-owned company, Petrobras, is preparing to open new vacancies for qualified technicians, following a series of investments in new businesses. The company’s Corporate Affairs Director, Clarice Coppetti, explained that the demand for skilled workers is increasing in response to these developments, which is why a new public exam is necessary.

Petrobras reported that it has already called more than 700 higher education professionals from a pre-existing registration. Additionally, a recent junior technical exam was also held, with the final result disclosed on the last day 13. This new exam emerges as a reflection of the company’s ongoing expansion and investments.

Earlier this year, Petrobras held another exam that offered 373 immediate vacancies, in addition to 746 positions for a reserve list, totaling 1,119 opportunities. At that time, the stipulated base salary was R$3,294.36.
According to the rules of the last Petrobras exam, 8% of the vacancies were reserved for people with disabilities and 20% for black candidates. Inclusion and diversity are, therefore, recognized and promoted values by Petrobras in its selection processes.

Earlier this year, there was a selection process by Petrobras with 1,119 vacancies also for technical level, of which 373 were for immediate hiring and 746 for a reserve list. Candidates underwent tests on April 30, after paying a registration fee of R$62.79. Other necessary requirements included: being at least 18 years old and at most 75 years old on the date of hiring, having Brazilian or Portuguese nationality, being up to date with electoral and military obligations (for Brazilian male candidates), and being able to demonstrate physical and mental fitness to perform the job.
Participants had the chance to check the list of approved candidates last Thursday (13) and may be allocated in any region where Petrobras operates, according to the company’s needs, and hiring will be done according to the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), ensuring rights and security for new employees.
