During the conduct of these tests, the expected average production is approximately 7 thousand barrels of oil per day and 500 thousand cubic meters per day of associated gas.
The FPSO responsible for conducting the tests is the FPSO Cidade de São Vicente, which will last about 180 days, with demobilization planned for the second half of 2020. Farfan is located in the BM-SEAL-11 concession, with 60% Petrobras (operator) and 40% IBV.
In the phase prior to the TLD, a discovery assessment plan (PAD) was conducted and found the presence of oil of excellent quality in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin region. With the tests underway, Petrobras aims to determine which will be the next development projects in the region.
