Coke Battery

However, the positions are not yet available. The expectation is that opportunities will be made available through the Sine of Serra. They will be offered according to the company’s needs, and it is anticipated that hiring will begin soon.
For the projects, investments will amount to R$ 1.14 billion, with short, medium, and long-term projects. The Environmental Commitment Term (TCA) was already signed with the public authorities in 2018.
ArcelorMittal reported that the seawater desalination project will generate 220 positions, with 160 direct labor jobs (civil works and assembly) and 8 in-house employees for operation and maintenance. For this stage, hiring will be done by Fluence, the company that won the tender for supplying and assembling the plant.
The company also aims to enhance opportunities for local businesses through Findes and Ases. The expectation is that the projects will commence in April of this year.
Seawater Desalination
