Compass Gas and Energy Wants to Buy Petrobras’s Stake in Gaspetro
After Announcing a Billion-Dollar Investment in São Paulo to Bring Pre-Salt Gas to Baixada Santista, Cosan reported yesterday (10/26) that its subsidiary, Compass Gas and Energy, made a proposal in the competitive divestment process promoted by Petrobras.
The oil company intends to purchase a 51% stake of Petrobras in Gaspetro. In addition to Petrobras, Gaspetro has the Japanese Mitsui as a shareholder, with a 49% stake.
