Enauta Plans to Drill Another Well in the Fourth Quarter of 2022
Additionally, the drilling of another well in the Early Production System (EPS) is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022. The new well, expected to start production in early 2023, will allow a significant increase in production and add a surplus to the pumping system of the wells. The estimated cost of the well is US$ 75 million, with US$ 60 million for drilling and completion and the remainder for interconnection.
“We remain focused on production and optimizing operational costs, especially logistic costs. The offshore engineering used in Block BS-4 is based on the most advanced concepts available in the market”, stated Carlos Mastrangelo, Director of Operations at Enauta.
The company’s operational efficiency in the Atlanta Field in November was 99.32% on the FPSO Petrojarl I, maintaining the excellence of the previous month’s record. The location was the second farm-in agreement for the company following its IPO in 2011, when the company announced the acquisition of the stake and the operation in the block, with investments of US$ 157.5 million.
According to the latest certification from Gaffney, Cline & Associates, the Atlanta Field has 2P Reserves of 103 MM bbl of heavy oil, with a 14° API and low sulfur content, less polluting and in line with the IMO 2020 marine fuel regulation.
