TGS Announces New 3D Multi-Client Seismic Survey in the Campos Basin, Brazil. The Survey Will Cover Approximately 11,200 km2 Within the Granted Permit Area and Will Be Acquired by Shearwater Using the Amazon Warrior Vessel.
The Project Will Be Conducted by the Amazon Warrior Starting in Q3 2019 in the Highly Prospective Blocks of Round 16 Located in the Campos Basin. TGS Will Use Advanced Imaging Technologies (RTM) and Velocity Model Building (FWI) to Create Accurate and High-Resolution Images of the Prolific Pre-Salt Targets.
Fast Track Products Will Be Available in Summer 2019 Before the 16th Round, with Final Products Available in Q2 2020.

The Amazon Warrior Is One of Two Amazon-Class Vessels in Shearwater’s Fleet. The Vessel Is Equipped for Worldwide Operations, From Harsh Arctic Environments to South Atlantic Conditions, Where the Stable Design of the Vessel Allows for Low-Noise Data Acquisition Through an Extended Operational Window.
