The much-anticipated Porsche 911 Turbo S, now in its 992.2 generation, arrives in Brazil for pre-sale with the promise of redefining once again the boundaries between technology, tradition, and performance. Already available at Porsche Centers throughout the country, the model will be offered in Coupé (R$ 2,100,000) and Cabriolet (R$ 2,150,000) versions, with deliveries expected in the first half of 2026.
For purists of the brand, the announcement represents more than just a simple launch: it is the reaffirmation of a legacy that for six decades has translated the essence of German sports engineering — power, precision, and emotion in raw form.

A Historic Leap: Hybrid Power Without Losing Its Soul

The new Porsche 911 Turbo S debuts the T-Hybrid Biturbo 400 V system, an ingenious combination of the legendary 3.6-liter boxer engine and a lightweight electric unit, resulting in 711 hp and 800 Nm of torque available between 2,300 and 6,000 rpm. This architecture allows the sports car to reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and exceed a maximum speed of 322 km/h.
The 8-speed PDK transmission with an integrated electric motor delivers virtually instantaneous shifts, while the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system precisely distributes power.
Even with the addition of hybrid system components, the weight gain was minimal — just 85 kg more than its predecessor — compensated with ease by the linear torque delivery and the immediate response of the two electric eTurbi.

On the track, the result is stunning: at Nürburgring Nordschleife, the new Turbo S recorded 7:03.92 minutes, being 14 seconds faster than the previous model. The driver and brand ambassador, Jörg Bergmeister, described the sensation at the wheel as “more agile, more grippy, and surprisingly stable, with no indication of the additional weight.”

Racing Agility With Grand Tourer Comfort

The chassis engineering received meticulous attention. As standard, the model comes with the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) electro-hydraulic system, which reduces body roll in corners and enhances dynamic balance.
The active stabilizer bars work in conjunction with the PASM suspension to keep the car level even under extreme lateral accelerations, offering a rare combination of comfort and brutality.
The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system has been upgraded with 420 mm front and 410 mm rear discs, equipped with new high-thermal-resistance pads capable of withstanding repeated track braking without loss of efficiency.
The wider tires at the rear (325/30 ZR 21) and calibrated with new composition increase grip on dry surfaces, without compromising safety in the rain — thanks to the active aerodynamics system, which automatically adjusts airflow and downforce according to the selected driving mode.

The result is an almost perfect balance between the agility of a race car and the refinement of a grand touring car, making the new Turbo S equally enjoyable on racetracks or long coastal trips.

Design That Inspires Respect and Cutting-Edge Technology

The design of the 911 Turbo S 992.2 follows the philosophy “form follows function,” with even more muscular lines and proportions that highlight the width of the rear axle.
At the front, vertical cooling flaps and an active front diffuser work together with the variable lip spoiler and the tilting rear wing, optimizing cooling and aerodynamic efficiency.
The drag coefficient has been reduced by 10%, while the intelligent cooling system improves braking stability on wet surfaces.

Visually, the Turbo line signature appears in details in the color Turbonite, present in the Porsche crest, on the wheels with center lock, on the window trims, and even on the internal stitching.
The titanium exhaust outlets have been redesigned to emphasize the deep and visceral roar of the new engine, now more grave and guttural, thanks to the asymmetric valve timing and the new standard sports exhaust system.
At the rear, the enlarged air intakes and the three-dimensional light strip complete the unmistakable look, blending tradition and modernity.

Artisanal Interior With Cockpit Soul

Inside, the 911 Turbo S raises the standard of finish for the line. The environment mixes carbon fiber with Neodyme finish, perforated microfiber on the ceiling, natural leather upholstery, and contrasting stitching.
The Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, adjustable in 18 positions and with memory, feature the “Turbo S” emblem stitched on the headrests and offer competition-like ergonomics with executive sedan comfort.
The dashboard prominently displays the Sport Chrono clock, and the multifunction steering wheel, wrapped in leather, features controls inspired by the racing world.
The onboard technology includes the new HD Matrix LED lighting system, which adapts the beam according to the environment and avoids glare, as well as Bose Surround Sound system, two-zone automatic climate control, and 360° cameras integrated with front and rear sensors.

The sound experience is a spectacle in itself: the metallic roar of the boxer engine echoes intensely, while the acoustic insulation preserves comfort during long cruises.

Hybrid, But With the Heart of Zuffenhausen

Despite the introduction of the hybrid system, the new Porsche 911 Turbo S has not lost what makes it a true 911: the visceral connection between machine and driver.
Every touch on the accelerator is met with instantaneous fury, every curve is a demonstration of millimetric balance.
The model delivers the best of both worlds — efficiency and brutality — without compromising the joy of driving.

Porsche shows once again that electrification can coexist with tradition. The Turbo S 992.2 is the meeting point between the future and the glorious past of the brand, a sports car that inspires respect, desire, and a healthy dose of mechanical nostalgia.
