Course, Format, and Duration
Aimed at graduated professionals from any field, the course will be taught on the Moodle platform, allowing remote access to content, academic activities, and interaction with instructors.
The specialization has a duration of 24 months and requires a Final Paper, as per internal regulations.
The coordination is shared between the Bambuí and São João Evangelista campuses.
Areas of Emphasis and Target Audience
The specialization in Management offers four tracks in demand in the market: Entrepreneurship and Business, Digital Marketing, People Management, and Technology and Innovation.
Each emphasis has 20 slots available.
The program is indicated for those working or intending to work in leadership, management, and the development of innovative solutions in public, private, or third-sector organizations.
Reserved Slots and Inclusion Criteria
In addition to general competition, the notice establishes a policy of affirmative actions.
In each emphasis, 20% of the slots are reserved for self-declared black (African descent and mixed-race) and indigenous candidates, with confirmation by a heteroidentification commission for black candidates.
There is also 1 slot per emphasis reserved for persons with disabilities, upon presentation of a report in accordance with current legislation.
If there are remaining slots in the quotas, they revert to general competition of the respective emphasis, respecting the ranking order.
Who Can Register
Individuals with a degree recognized by MEC can apply.
The application is individual, and the applicant must choose only one emphasis at the time of registration.
If a candidate submits more than one form, the system will consider only the last registration recorded as valid.
How the Selection Will Work
The selection will occur in two stages.
The first stage, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, consists of an online objective assessment with 25 multiple-choice questions on management topics, including Marketing Management, Strategic Management, People Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Economics, Cost Management, and Pricing, Operations, and Logistics.
The exam will be available only during the scheduled period (November 7, from 7 PM to 9 PM), with access via CPF and initial password. The minimum passing score is 60 points.
The second stage, exclusive for those called for the reserved slots, the IFMG will perform confirmation of self-declarations: heteroidentification for black candidates; documentary analysis for indigenous persons and persons with disabilities.
Those who do not have the condition validated will continue to compete only in the general competition, according to the notice.
Results and Enrollment
The schedule provides for the release of the preliminary result of the first stage and a period for appeals.
After the validation phase of the reservations, the final result of the selection process will be published in December.
Candidates are advised to monitor updates on the institutional portal.
Enrollment will take place on dates to be informed, in early 2026, with the submission of documentation in PDF format.
Enrollment Fee and Exemption
Enrollment requires payment of a one-time fee of R$ 60.00, via Union Collection Guide (GRU), with specific instructions for filling out.
The notice states that requests for exemption can be made until October 6, by candidates registered in the CadÚnico who prove a family income per capita equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage.
Requests outside the deadline will not be accepted.
The registration proof must be updated and issued no more than 120 days prior.
Important Rules of the Notice
The IFMG recommends careful reading of the entire notice before applying.
Registration is exclusively online and the responsibility of the candidate; there is no conditional registration.
The fee is not refundable in case of withdrawal, except in case of annulment of the exam by institutional decision.
Additionally, proofs of payment scheduling of the GRU are not accepted.
In case of duplicate registrations, the most recent one will prevail.
Excess candidates may be invited to fill any remaining slots, according to ranking.
Documents and Communication
During registration, the candidate must provide personal data, select emphasis and slot category, briefly describe the intended topic for the Final Paper, and attach the required documentation.
All official communications — lists of registered candidates, results, and convocations — will be published on the Bambuí and São João Evangelista campus pages.
Within the deadlines indicated in the schedule, formal doubts and appeals must be sent to the email of the committee informed in the notice.
Summary Schedule
The registration period runs from September 29 to October 18, at 11:59 PM.
The exemption from the fee can be requested until October 6.
The exam will be held on November 7, at the indicated time.
Results, deadlines for appeals, validation stages, and calls for enrollment follow the detailed calendar of the notice.

To participate, the candidate must access the IFMG portal, fill out the electronic registration form, select the emphasis, attach the requested documents, and, if applicable, issue and pay the GRU of R$ 60.00 by the deadline.
