Welberth Rezende, Mayor of Macaé, Significantly Boosts Job Creation in the City and Announces New Public Contest with Thousands of Vacancies.

In a recent interview given to journalist Ana Paula Mendes’ podcast, the Mayor of Macaé, Welberth Rezende (Cidadania), stated his plans to launch, by the end of this year, a new public contest notice for the hiring of two thousand new servers to replace contracted employees.

Mayor Highlighted Some Available Positions in the Public Contest in Macaé

The public contest is part of an agreement with the Public Ministry aimed at reducing the number of contracted employees on the city’s payroll. According to Welberth Rezende, thus, the contest is not intended, at least initially, for the opening of new vacancies or for increasing the number of servers.

The number will remain at 17 thousand and 500; however, among this number, there are still 2 thousand contracted. The professionals will be replaced. While a new public contest notice is released, the city hall announced this week a new selection process for hiring collaborators in the health sector:

According to the notice announced by Welberth Rezende, the completion of the pre-registration form and online resume must be done by August 16, while the validation of in-person registration will take place from August 15 to 17, the publication of the list of registered candidates on the 22nd, the disclosure of exam locations on the 24th, the objective test and the publication of the answer keys on the 27th, appeals regarding the answer keys on the 28th, results of the appeals regarding the answer keys on the 31st, and on September 1, the provisional result of the objective test will be published. The expected start of the contract is on September 28.

Registration for the process announced by Welberth Rezende is completely free and can be done on the Macaé City Hall website until August 16. To confirm their registration, candidates must present themselves at the University City during the previously mentioned period. It is located at Avenida Aloísio da Silva Gomes, No. 50, Granja dos Cavaleiros (Macaé).

It will be mandatory to submit a copy of an official photo ID and a printed pre-registration form.

The service will be closed at the University City by 4 PM, at which time service tickets will be distributed if necessary. Interested candidates must also be Brazilian by birth, naturalized, or foreign, in accordance with Article 12 in conjunction with Article 37, Section I, of the Federal Constitution and must be at least 18 years old.

The location for the Objective Test for the vacancies will be announced on the Macaé Municipal City’s website. There will be 30 questions covering Portuguese Language, Mathematics, and Knowledge about Macaé.

The maximum score for the Objective Test will total 80 points, and the time allotted for completing the test will be 3 hours.

For each test question, there will be 5 answer options with only one correct. The candidate must arrive at the designated location for the examination at least one hour in advance.

The resume analysis will be conducted online by the Committee for the Implementation and Monitoring of the Simplified Selection Process and the Municipal Secretary’s Office for Human Resources, which will be responsible for examining the attached documentation copy, remotely by candidates who score at least half of the points in the Objective Test.
