Among the basic requirements for entering the city hall’s workforce are being Brazilian, under the terms of the Federal Constitution, having completed 18 years of age, being in full exercise of political rights, being deemed physically and mentally fit for the position in an official medical examination, as determined by the City Hall, declaring expressly whether or not one holds a position, employment, or public function in the bodies and entities of the Administration, and possessing the desired education and other requirements for the performance of the role.

To participate, interested candidates in the city hall public contest must register from March 22 to April 19, 2024, through the official IPPEC website.
The registration fees range from R$ 50 to R$ 120, according to the candidate’s education level. It is worth mentioning that there is a chance to request a fee waiver until March 29 of this year, according to the criteria established in the announcement.
The city hall public contest will include a Objective Test, scheduled for May 5, 2024, covering topics such as Portuguese Language, Mathematics, General and Specific Knowledge, Assessment of Titles (for specific positions) for the positions of Special Education Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, and Early Childhood Education Teacher.
