Campos dos Goytacazes City Hall Announces Job Opening With Vacancies for High School and Higher Education Levels

The Municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes – RJ, is planning to launch a new public competition with vacancies for diverse positions both for medium and higher levels.

A new public competition from the Municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, will be held soon. The selection process was announced last Monday (1), by Wladimir Garotinho, the city’s mayor, through his social networks. The number of vacancies has not yet been announced; however, it is known that options for both medium and higher levels and their respective positions will be offered. It has not yet been defined when the official notice will be published. New data should be released later.

For now, the municipality already anticipates that the vacancies in the competition are for the following positions:

Tax Auditor

Responsible for acting as an authority in relation to tax and customs administration, overseeing compliance with tax and labor rights. Also inspects the functioning of the tax system in the country, analyzing tax payments and verifying if there is any form of tax evasion.

Finance Technician

Responsible for studying matters of interest to tax administration, including presenting suggestions for improving services and developing work, in accordance with the specifications approved by regulation.

Accountant

Responsible for managing financial, tax, asset, and economic issues of a company. In their daily work, they handle spreadsheets, financial statements, accounts receivable and payable.

Internal Controls Analyst

Responsible for drafting, approving, reviewing, and approving internal policies and regulations, analyzing risks and controls to ensure security and reliability, and mapping activity flows to meet operational process compliance, among others.

Social Educator

A social educator is a professional who works in the education sector and directly engages with individuals in situations of social vulnerability, such as children, adults, and youth in situations of homelessness, social or personal risk, or in conflict with the law.

Municipal Guard

Responsible for ensuring the safety of municipal assets and citizens. Some of them adopt the names Municipal Civil Guard, Municipal Guard, Metropolitan Guard, or Metropolitan Civil Guard to designate their corporations.

The expectation is that an official authorization from the certification will be published later. Only after this publication will the organizing committee be formed, which will be responsible for developing the notice and selecting the agency responsible for conducting the exams.

When the contract with the company is signed, it will be possible to define the exact date for the publication of the registration announcement. In any case, the selection process can already be considered certain and is expected to take place in the coming months, still this year.

The last competition of the Municipality Campos dos Goytacazes-RJ took place in 2018, when 100 vacancies for the position of epidemic combat agent were opened, 10 of which were aimed at people with disabilities. The organizing agency at the time was INCP Concursos.
