The City Hall of Niterói and Firjan Have Formed a New Partnership to Offer 500 Spots in 13 Free Courses for Young People Aged 16 to 24 in Rio de Janeiro.
The City Hall of Niterói and the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan) have partnered to launch a new announcement for the Niterói Young EcoSocial II Project, aimed at filling 500 spots in 13 free courses in various fields, across 24 classes. The purpose of the program is to provide professional qualification, conduct training in the communities, and develop social skills.
The City Hall of Niterói’s activities will be available from Monday to Friday, with three days a week at the Senai Niterói Barreto, Sesi Niterói, and two days in communities defined in the announcement for actions to be implemented in the environmental sector.
Registrations for Free Courses by the City Hall of Niterói and Firjan Will Open in September
Registrations for the selection process can be made on September 1 and 2 at one of the 4 locations defined in the announcement, starting at 9 AM. The locations are:

According to the Secretary of Social Participation, Anderson Pipico, it is very rewarding for the City Hall of Niterói, through the Secretary of Social Participation, to provide 500 spots in free courses for young people in their city across 24 communities, offering a chance for professional qualification, promoting ecological, environmental, and sustainable awareness for the beginning of the second phase of the Niterói Young EcoSocial Program.

Requirements to Participate in the Free Courses
The courses are aimed at young people aged between 16 and 25, and minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian to complete the registration. Applicants must be enrolled in regular education, which can be through EJA or have already completed high school.
To register, candidates must be present at one of the established locations with proof of the educational requirement, which can be a copy of the school transcript, copy of high school certificate, diploma, updated school declaration, copy of ID, CPF, proof of residence in the name of the candidate, and a completed registration request.
The selection process is scheduled to take place between September 5 and 19, and the results are expected to be announced on the 27th of the same month.
