Japan Launches Omnidirectional Cable That Promises to Revolutionize the Mobile Phone Market for Just R$ 101! Discover How This Innovation Transforms Charging and Device Usage.

The digitization of devices we use daily has brought an avalanche of cables into our homes. Despite being essential, they face common problems such as a lack of ergonomics: whether using devices while charging or plugging them in tight spaces or near furniture. Now, a new omnidirectional cable developed in Japan promises to solve all these challenges and revolutionize how we charge our mobile phones.

How Much Does the Omnidirectional Cable From Japan Cost?

As reported by TechSpot, Sanwa Supply has launched the 500-USB090 cable that promises to revolutionize mobile charging by rotating 180 degrees vertically and 360 degrees horizontally, allowing greater flexibility and convenience when charging devices.

In addition, it supports a power delivery of up to 240W, ideal for quickly charging phones, tablets, monitors, and even a portable video game console. The price of the mobile phone cable is 2,580 yen (R$ 101 in direct conversion) for a 1-meter cable.

Thanks to its versatile design, this mobile phone cable from Japan succeeds in leaving behind the frustration of traditional cables that require the user to position the device according to the cable direction.

However, while it is perfect for charging mobile phones, it currently only supports USB 2.0 data transfers with speeds of up to 480 Mbps, much slower than current USB 3.2 standards. The cable is only sold in the Japanese market, requiring importation for interested parties from other countries.

Xiaomi Also Announces Innovative New Mobile Phone Cable

As companies adopt standards like USB 2.0 or Thunderbolt 5, the expectation is that the 240W power delivery will become more common.

At this moment, companies like Elecom have already introduced these certified options, innovating in mobile charging. However, only a few models support 240W charging. Either way, the mere existence of this type of cable may spark companies’ interest in producing something similar.

Following this same idea, in addition to Japan, Xiaomi unveiled two new magnetic rapid charging data cables with self-storage for the Mi 6A in China. Both cables are 1 meter long, with USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C variants. These products that could innovate mobile charging are available in four colors with braided finishes and magnetic properties to keep them organized.

Xiaomi’s Mobile Phone Cable Can Deliver Up to 120W of Power

The magnetic self-storage rapid charging data cables of 1 meter from the Xiaomi Mi 6A were launched in China. These USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables can be used to charge a wide variety of devices at up to 120W, supporting Xiaomi HyperCharge. They also offer a data transfer rate of 480 Mbps.

The Xiaomi Mi 6A 1 meter USB-C cable has a braided outer layer, available in four colors: gray, olive green, white, and dark brown. As their names suggest, the magnetic properties of the products mean that the cable temporarily sticks to itself, which should make storage or transportation easier.

Moreover, Xiaomi suggests that these products can withstand 10,000 pulls or 20,000 bends and can support a force of up to 100N. Now, it is possible to buy 1-meter magnetic rapid charging data cables from Xiaomi in China, where all versions are being sold for about R$ 50.
