Meeting with the President of Petrobras
According to the mayor of Macaé, the meeting with the president of Petrobras was very productive. Important topics, such as the oil company’s investments in the city of Macaé, were among the agenda items of the meeting.
Everyone knows that Petrobras is a strategic partner of the city, to the point that Macaé has been called “the oil city” during the times of “fat cows,” when jobs in the oil sector were abundant in the city and fed the productive chain in industries like commerce, tourism, ports, logistics, among others, in the region.

With ‘Infinite’ Capital from China, Eike Eyes Porto do Açu for Solar Plant Construction and Many Jobs Will Be Created in the Region
The joint investments from China with Eike will reach tens of billions of reais in oil and gas, mining, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
Allied with the Chinese, former billionaire Eike Batista is trying to repurchase Porto do Açu, which was previously owned entirely by MMX, a company in the EBX group, with the help of China Development Integration (CDIL). Additionally, Eike aims to reclaim the role of a protagonist and is eyeing the construction of a solar power plant capable of generating 1,100 megawatts, in partnership with Taiwa. He also has other mining projects lined up to be installed at the Porto.
The construction of a solar energy park with a capacity of 1,100 megawatts, with the first 300 being built in an area adjacent to Porto do Açu, is expected to have panels supplied by Chinese company Trina Solar, one of the largest solar panel producers in the world. “The energy tariff in Brazil is the best in the world,” said Amir, who was in Brazil from December to February negotiating with Eike and visiting the assets.
