Onesubsea was operating maintenance for machines and equipment, engineering services, and technical assistance in the city of Macaé in Rio de Janeiro. Now the oil multinational will transfer activities to its new headquarters in Taubaté.
The municipal administration offered a reduction in the rate of the Tax on Services of Any Nature (ISSQN) up to 2% on all services provided in the municipality for a period of 10 years. The benefit is conditioned on the company maintaining the number of employees, revenue, and other requirements established by Complementary Law No. 184/08.

Onesubsea Will Create Job Openings and Generate Over R$ 1 Million in Tax Revenue for Taubaté City Hall – SP
According to the announcement, the multinational Onesubsea will create twenty high-skilled job openings and generate over R$ 1 million in municipal tax revenue.
It is important to highlight the continuous effort by Sedin to attract companies that generate resources, such as revenue and specialized labor, especially at a time of economic crisis aggravated by the health crisis in the country.
Encouraging the establishment and expansion of commercial industrial activities, service provision, scientific and technological research, and support and promotion for the development of tourism and agribusiness are the premises of the municipal management.
