The G.Future, Gerdau’s Trainee Program Designed for Professionals Who Want to Prepare for New Career Opportunities, Is Open with 11 Positions Available for Women
In the pursuit of building an increasingly diverse team, the multinational steel company Gerdau is recruiting women who want to take on the challenge of the G.Future Trainee Program and are willing to help shape the Gerdau of the future. There are 11 positions available across Brazil, exclusively for them.

Over the course of 18 months, those who become part of the Gerdau G.Future trainee team will have the opportunity to participate in the development of technical and behavioral content that will accelerate their training in areas such as business, safety, leadership, routine management, project management, and people management.
The knowledge acquired in the program will be put into practice in a challenge project in the corresponding area of operation, where there will be real-life situations. In addition, the team will have the support and mentoring from Gerdau leadership in technical mentorships and discussions about development.

In total, there are 11 Gerdau trainee positions available in the states of Pernambuco (1 position), Rio de Janeiro (2 positions), Minas Gerais (6 positions), Rio Grande do Sul (3 positions), and São Paulo (3 positions).
The G.Future Is a Trainee Program for Women and Men, But These 11 Open Positions Are Exclusively for Women
Gerdau aims to build a gender-equitable team; therefore, it is ensuring that 50% of the trainee program positions are allocated for female professionals. Women (cisgender or transgender) who graduated between June 2018 and June 2020 are eligible to participate in the selection process.
The selected candidates will receive a salary and benefits, such as: private pension, telemedicine, medical assistance and medication assistance, meal vouchers or cafeteria, dental assistance, and transportation or shuttle service.

The trainee program selection process includes a behavioral test, logical reasoning test, online interviews, panel discussions, and a technical visit to the nearest Gerdau industrial unit. Admission and the start of activities are scheduled to begin in November 2020.
