IFPB Extends Registration for the English Immersion Course in Canada. Secure Your Spot!
The General Directorate of People Management (DGEP) and the International Relations Advisory of IFPB (Arinter) have decided to extend the registration period for 50 spots in the English Immersion Course in Canada, intended for IFPB employees. Interested parties may register until December 12, 2022!
The General English Immersion Course, offered by ILSC Schools of Canada, through the Toronto First Steps Agency, is scheduled to take place from August 14 to September 9, 2023, in the city of Toronto – Canada.
According to IFPB, the oral and written tests will be conducted on December 15. The preliminary results will be released on December 16 and the period for appeals will extend until December 19, followed by the final results, expected on December 21.

About the 100 Spots in the General English Immersion Course in Toronto, Canada:
There will be 25 (twenty-five) spots for Administrative Technicians, 25 (twenty-five) spots for Faculty, totaling 50 (fifty) spots for employees of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba.
The course will last for four weeks, starting on 08/14/2023 and ending on 09/08/2023. Classes will be held from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 1 PM, in Canada.
The course to be held at the ILSC Schools of Canada (Toronto) is an immersion course with a Communicative Approach, and activities will involve the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will be exposed to various situations where they will have to communicate only in the target language – English.
In addition to classes at the school, the Toronto First Steps agency will be committed to promoting cultural activities, in which the use of the language will be present in all programming. These cultural activities count as attendance to make up the total hours of the program offered by the Institute in Canada.
The activities developed during the 04 (four) weeks by the aforementioned agency must be carefully conducted and posted weekly on the IFPB in Canada Facebook page.
