8 Thousand Places In Free English Course Going From Beginner To Advanced. The Santander English Course Is Held In Partnership With The United Kingdom.

The Santander Universities program has 8 thousand places in a free English course. The bank’s initiative is held in partnership with the British Council, a public institution created by the UK government. The Santander English course takes place online through the Santander Open Academy platform.

The programs from the British Council last for 8 weeks and go from May 20 to July 14. The 8 thousand scholarships are distributed across 5 programs of different proficiency levels, and candidates must choose only one level.

The programs offered, in order of proficiency, are Beginner A1, Beginner A2, Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2, and Advanced C1. Additionally, Santander English course students have access to four Live25 sessions, seminars conducted by teachers to reinforce grammar or pronunciation. Phase 2 of the program will be offered to the 2 thousand students who perform best in the first phase.

This consists of an additional 20 weeks of online training, with 18 synchronous online classes with a teacher, available 24 hours a day. Those interested in the free English course must be residents of Argentina, Germany, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Peru, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, or Uruguay.

Open also to anyone over 18 years old at the time of registration. It will not be necessary to be a current or future customer of Banco Santander.

Register For The Free English Course Santander

Those interested in the Santander English course must register through the Santander Open Academy and take the skills test. It is worth mentioning that this is not an English test. Thus, it is recommended that the candidate take the test in their native language.

The link to take the test will be sent to the candidate via the registration confirmation email. The subsidies cover 100% of the costs of the free English course, and students who complete the program will receive a certificate.
