The Department of Education and Sports of the State of Pernambuco announced the opening of registration for 4,185 slots in free technical courses at the State Technical Schools. With options in various fields such as administration, nursing, logistics, construction, and nutrition, this is an excellent opportunity for those seeking professional qualification. Registration begins on July 6 and runs until July 14, 2024.
The courses are offered in the subsequent format, meaning for those who have already completed high school. Technical courses are an effective way to enter the job market quickly, with quality teaching and recognized certification. Units and Locations
The slots are distributed across several units of the State Technical Schools in Pernambuco. Among the municipalities included are Araripina, Arcoverde, Belo Jardim, Bom Conselho, Bonito, Buíque, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Camaragibe, Carnaíba, Carpina, Caruaru, Garanhuns, Goiana, Gravatá, Igarassu, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Limoeiro, Palmares, Paulista, Recife, Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, São Lourenço da Mata, Serra Talhada, Sertânia, Surubim, Timbaúba, and Vitória de Santo Antão.

Requirements and Participation
To participate, the candidate must have completed high school. The slots are preferably for students from public schools, with a percentage reserved for those in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability. No registration fee will be charged.
Additionally, half of the slots for quota students are reserved for students from families with a gross income equal to or less than 1.5 minimum wage per capita. This measure aims to ensure that more low-income individuals have access to quality technical education.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of an objective test, with multiple-choice questions in the subjects of Portuguese Language and Mathematics. The test will be conducted electronically and remotely, allowing candidates to participate from any location with internet access. The tests will take place between July 15 and 19, 2024.
The test score will be calculated based on the correctly answered questions, and candidates will be ranked in descending order of the total score obtained. In case of a tie, the highest score in Portuguese will be the tiebreaker, followed by the candidate’s age.

Enrollment and Documentation
Approved candidates must attend the school for which they were classified, bringing the following documents: Academic Transcript or High School Completion Certificate, Identity Card, Proof of Address, CPF, and a 3×4 Photo.
Registration for Free Technical Courses
To enroll, candidates must access the institution’s website, fill out the electronic form, and schedule the date and time for taking the test. Registrations are free and can only be made once by each candidate.
