The Official Gazette of the Union published on Tuesday (12) the correction of the competition of the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Espírito Santo (IFES). The document includes new vacancies for the position of Information Technology Technician. This IF competition is a great opportunity for those seeking high school and higher education positions.
List of Vacancies for High School and Higher Education in the Federal Institute Competition – IFES
The IF competition offers 15 vacancies in the Federal Institute for the career of Technical-Administrative in Education (TAE). There will be reserved vacancies at the Federal Institute for blacks or browns (2 opportunities) and people with disabilities (1), already included in the total number of offerings.
Job placements will occur at the Rectory in Vitória and at the campuses in Ibatiba, Serra, Cariacica, Guararapes, Piúma, Viana, Alegre, São Mateus, and Venda Nova do Imigrante.

Applicants who wish to compete for the high school vacancies in the IF competition can apply for the positions of accounting technician (2 vacancies), nursing technician (1), information technology technician (8 vacancies), laboratory technician – area: IT (1), and laboratory technician – area: gastronomy (1).
For higher education qualifications, the Federal Institute competition includes vacancies for administrator (1) and pedagogue-area (1), requiring a degree in administration or pedagogy. Salaries in the IF competition are R$ 5,556.92 for vocational high school and R$ 3,667.19 for higher education, already including the food aid benefit of R$ 1,000.
Registrations and Exams in the IF Competition for High School and Higher Education Vacancies
Registrations for the Federal Institute competition for high school and higher education vacancies will be accepted until December 18, 2024, exclusively via the internet, through the IFES website. Interested parties must access the page of Public Notice No. 02/2024 and click on the “candidate area” link. The application fees for the competition with vacancies at the federal institute are R$ 100 for vocational high school and R$ 130 for higher education.
All registrants for the IFES competition will be evaluated through a single stage, which is the objective test, of a classificatory and eliminatory nature, with questions on general knowledge (Portuguese language, logical reasoning, legislation, and IT) and specific knowledge.
The exam for vacancies in the federal institute will be held on the scheduled date of February 16, 2025, at locations and times to be announced in the calling notice, which will be published in due course.
Main Requirements
Those interested in competing for vacancies in the Federal Institute must meet certain basic requirements:
- Be a natural or naturalized Brazilian or, if of Portuguese nationality, be supported by the Statute of Equality between Brazilians and Portuguese;
- Enjoy political rights;
- Be up to date with electoral obligations;
- Be up to date with military service obligations (for male candidates);
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have the qualifications and education requirements for entering the position;
- Have physical and mental fitness, as per the law, which will be checked through a medical admission exam, the responsibility of IFES, for which laboratory and complementary tests will be required at the candidate’s expense, the list of which will be provided in due course.
- Present all documents required for appointment to the positions listed in the notice, as well as other documents required by the People Management Directorate or the Selection and Development Coordination of IFES.

Gente !!!!! Ninguém aqui passa nesse concurso, vcs não estão sabendo interpretar o edital. Coloquei vírgulas e pontos em prática, prestem atenção.o salário maior é para nível superior, porém já incluso 1000 do vale alimentação, 3667.19 para nível médio mais o vale alimentação.
Os salários no concurso IF são de R$ 5.556,92 para nível médio profissionalizante e R$ 3.667,19 para ensino superior. Porque quem tem ensino médio ganha mais de quem tem ensino superior?
