Mobil™ Lubricants Brand Action Will Bring Renowned Professionals and Technical Knowledge to Mechanics Across the Country
Among the actions taken by the Mobil™ lubricants brand over its more than 150-year history is the appreciation and training of mechanics. Professionals that the company recognizes as important and works tirelessly to provide the best products, solutions, and services. After carrying out several actions during the first half of the year, the Mobil™ brand launched the “Super Mechanic” project, which brings lectures and technical knowledge, focusing on providing relevant content and building relationships with this audience.
These trainings will take place in-person at locations of great interest to mechanics. The kick-off took place on the last day 20, at the headquarters of Full Time Sports in Vinhedo, São Paulo. On that occasion, nearly fifty mechanics were able to listen and share experiences with experts in the field. To start, there was a conversation with José Neto, Mechanical Engineer and Consultant for the Mobil™ brand, about engine lubrication.
Next was Guto Cintra, a professional with nearly thirty years of experience in the field, discussing lubrication for automatic transmission. Finally, there was a casual conversation with the head of the Full Time Sports team, Maurício Ferreira, recounting his professional journey, his stumbles, and joys until he reached the command of one of the most successful teams in motorsport competitions.

To conclude, certificates were handed out, there was a tour of the Full Time Sports headquarters – including a close look at the car of driver Rubens Barrichello in Stock Car – and a lunch gathering finished the meeting.
For the Mobil™ brand, the project is another action to strengthen relationships and promote knowledge enhancement. “The mechanic has a very broad and deep history. First, he is the decision-maker in the automotive segment. And then, he intertwines with the history of both Brazil and the Brazilian people.
It is extremely gratifying to be part of this professional’s evolution by promoting actions for appreciation and training for these professionals. We will continue to promote movements that value them and provide even more knowledge,” says Marina Teixeira, Marketing Coordinator for the Mobil™ brand.
The project also includes the availability of content in digital format. The platform will offer materials that address topics such as: shop management, lubrication tables, types of lubricants, engine vs. lubricants relationship, and myths and truths about lubrication. “To reach these formats, we conducted research with mechanics, and that’s why we chose to continue with the project in a hybrid format, with some in-person actions and a lot of complementary content provided digitally. For those who cannot participate in person, the online materials can bring a lot of knowledge. Those participating in the courses enjoy an experience in amazing places,” adds Marina.
*The next in-person course day is already scheduled for September 10 and will be held at the Porsche Cup headquarters in São Paulo.
