The City Hall of Cubatão, in partnership with Sebrae-SP, announced the opening of registrations for free courses of the entrepreneurship acceleration program “Creating Connections.”
With 100 slots available, the training is aimed at micro-entrepreneurs who wish to enhance their skills and strengthen their businesses in the areas of handicrafts, gastronomy, music, and tourism guides and monitors.
The courses will be held in person at Parque Anilinas, starting January 13, and will offer a certificate of completion for participants who achieve at least 75% attendance. Registrations are already open and can be made until November 24.

Sebrae Offers Courses to Strengthen Local Businesses
The “Creating Connections” program is an initiative of the Municipal Tourism Department of Cubatão in partnership with Sebrae-SP, aimed at qualifying micro and small entrepreneurs in the region.
According to Sidinei de Fontes, the Secretary of Tourism of Cubatão, the focus is to prepare local entrepreneurs to serve tourists and residents with excellence, creating more opportunities and strengthening the local economy.
The courses are structured to meet specific demands of the tourism and creative economy sectors, focusing on management strategies and improving competitiveness.
According to Michele Divino, business consultant at Sebrae-SP, the proposal is to optimize the operational efficiency of businesses and contribute to making Cubatão stand out as a tourist destination.

The free courses offered by Sebrae-SP are divided into four main areas:
- Handicrafts: Production and management techniques for creative entrepreneurs.
- Gastronomy: Culinary practices and management of gastronomic businesses.
- Music: Talent development and management of musical events.
- Guides and Monitors: Training in receptive tourism and visitor service.
Each class will have 25 slots, totaling 100 opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
How the Selection Process Works
To participate, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Reside in Cubatão.
- Hold an active CNPJ registered in the municipality with CNAE related to the course areas.
Registrations must be made through an online form available on the City Hall of Cubatão’s website until November 24. After the registration period, the list of qualified candidates will be published on November 27.
The courses start on January 13 and will be taught in person at Parque Anilinas. Participants will receive a certificate of completion provided they meet the 75% attendance requirement.
