Aurélio Ferreira, director of Ultragaz, said that the company’s plan is to invest R$ 300 million in 2020. To this end, in an interview given to PetroNotícias, the director stated that the company has been betting on diversifying its client base, aiming to serve new segments, such as agribusiness. “We are developing a solution for the use of LPG [liquefied petroleum gas or cooking gas] in cotton processing. Brazil is one of the largest cotton producers in the world, which requires a very good quality level for export. We are developing solutions, following the concepts of energy efficiency and technology, to precisely improve this processing [of cotton],” stated Aurélio.

We are talking about investing over R$ 300 million in 2020. It is a plan whose idea is to cover several of the points mentioned. We have a strong focus on the client, with concern for quality and service to residential and corporate clients.”
