Federal Platform Brings Free Courses and Certificates Covering Various Professional Areas That Can Be Started Immediately.

The federal online course platform Aprenda Mais, maintained by the Ministry of Education (MEC) in partnership with the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education, continues to offer over a hundred options for quick training, completely online, free of charge, and with a digital certificate for graduates.

The training covers areas such as health, exact sciences, languages, tourism, and safety and is open to the general public, without a selection process or charging fees.

Expanded Offer of Free Courses

Among the institutions that promote and encourage the use of the virtual environment is the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), which reinforces the invitation to the academic community and the external public to get to know and use the platform.

This recommendation is part of the effort by federal institutes to expand access to short-term professional and technological education, focusing on updating and qualifying different profiles of students and workers.

Created by MEC to organize in one environment the free courses offered by the Federal Network, the Aprenda Mais platform currently brings together more than 250 short-term training options at different levels of complexity.

The paths include introductory content for those taking their first steps in a specific area to improvement modules aimed at professionals already working in the job market.

Available Study Areas

In the area of Environment and Health, for example, there are courses related to topics such as health promotion, sanitary safety, quality of life, and sustainability.

In Exact and Human Sciences, there are contents on applied mathematics, logic, fundamentals of physics, social studies, and citizenship.

In Languages, users find modules of English and other foreign languages focused on practical situations in daily life and the professional environment.

The offer also includes training in Management and Business, Educational and Social Development, Information and Communication, Infrastructure, Food Production, Cultural Production and Design, Natural Resources, Safety, as well as courses aimed at Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure and specific training for training authors of educational materials.

This variety allows different profiles to find content aligned with their own interests and goals.

100% Online Courses with Free Certificate

One of the differentiators of Aprenda Mais is the combination of total free of charge and 100% online model.

There are no tuition fees, enrollment fees, or certificate issuance charges.

The participant accesses the didactic materials directly on the platform, performs the assessment activities and, upon meeting the minimum requirements, can issue the digital certificate at no additional cost.

In many cases, the system automatically releases the document after the completion of the mandatory modules.

Study at Your Own Pace

Another central characteristic is the self-instructional format.

The courses do not include individualized tutoring or continuous monitoring by teachers in real-time.

The contents are structured so that the student advances independently, revisiting video lessons, texts and exercises as needed.

This dynamic offers flexibility to those who need to balance study with work, family, or other routines.

As it is an official platform of the MEC, the certificates issued at the end of the courses have institutional recognition and can be used to prove training hours, professional updating, or extension activities, according to the rules of each institution.

Who Can Participate

Access is open to anyone with a valid CPF and email.

It is not necessary to be enrolled in regular courses.

The platform was designed to serve students, workers seeking updates, unemployed individuals wishing to improve their resume, and citizens interested in developing new skills.

There is no limit on the number of spots per class, nor a limit on the number of courses per user.

How the Platform Supports Professional Training

Ifal and other federal institutes emphasize that Aprenda Mais can serve as a gateway to specific technical areas.

A student interested in tourism, for example, can start with an introductory hospitality course before seeking technical or technological training.

The same applies to sectors such as safety, environmental management, and information technology.

Furthermore, many courses have a reduced workload, between 20 and 60 hours, making it easier to include them in a resume or to prove them in internal work processes.

At the end, the certificate presents the course name, the workload, and the responsible institution.

How to Register for MEC Courses

To register, the interested party must access the Aprenda Mais platform, create an account with basic data such as CPF, email, and password, confirm the registration, and log in.

After that, simply navigate through the knowledge areas, select the desired course, and complete the self-registration to start studying immediately.

E muitos deles conseguiram as custas do dinheiro público.
