B3 recorded 75 auctions in 2025, a record number, with fundraising exceeding R$ 240 billion, impacting 22 states and an estimated generation of 1.6 million jobs, according to data released by CNN Money.
The volume achieved establishes 2025 as the largest year in the historical series of auctions held by B3, bringing together infrastructure and public services projects with wide participation from investors and strong regional reach throughout the national territory.
According to Guilherme Peixoto in an interview with CNN Brasil, superintendent of B3’s Auctions, the result reflects a “historic moment of alignment of incentives” among technical teams, structurers, financiers, and regulators, focusing on improving governance and the robustness of the projects offered.

Highways Lead The Number of Auctions and Concentrate Larger Projects
The highways sector accounted for 20 auctions in 2025, establishing itself as the most significant segment within B3’s annual agenda, with long-term contracts and high volumes of committed investments.
Among the highlights is the renegotiation of the Fernão Dias Highway, a section of BR-381 between São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, the first contractual renegotiation with effective competition and a change of ownership, according to B3.
The winner was Motiva, which will take over the asset for 15 years and committed to invest R$ 14.8 billion to modernize and expand the highway, offering a toll discount of 17.05%.
Motiva replaces Arteris, controlled by Abertis and the Canadian fund Brookfield, while EPR came in third place in the auction.
