Petrobras' initiative, in partnership with Sebrae, offers up to R$10 million for the realization of the winning projects. Divided into nine technological areas, the selection aims at the effective implementation of the products in the company's operations.

“Our intention is to seek with these companies the agile development of solutions to overcome challenges, generating value for our business and, consequently, for the oil and gas sector. We're looking for creative answers,” says program coordinator Ricardo Ramos, from Cenpes, Petrobras' research and innovation center. For Ramos, the ability to dare is essential for the success of projects.”

According to the notice, proposals can be submitted in the following areas: digital technologies, robotics, energy efficiency, catalysts, corrosion, carbon reduction, geological modeling, inspection technologies and water treatment. Each proposal may receive funds of up to R$ 500, which may reach R$ 1 million, depending on the value added to Petrobras' business.

Participants will have advice from Petrobras and Sebrae, during and after the selection process, so that their solutions are implemented and generate value in the short term.

For successfully completed projects, Petrobras will seek to enable the continuity of development with implementation and field tests, through a pilot lot or pioneering service. For Sebrae, the partnership plays a strategic role in achieving better results.

“Sebrae will be supporting the micro and small companies selected in the public notices with complementary business consultancy to innovation projects from the beginning, favoring the effective entry of the innovative solution in the market and increasing its competitiveness”, explains the technical director of the institution Bruno Quick.

Representatives of startups and small technology-based companies from across the country have until this Sunday . to enroll in the call for bids for the Petrobras Conexões para Inovação program.
