Toyo Setal to build new Replan S-10 diesel production plant
United in a consortium, Toyo Setal and Toyo Engineering Corporation won the competition for the construction of a diesel hydrotreatment unit (HDT) and revamping of existing units at the Paulínia Refinery (Replan) – the largest in Brazil in terms of processing capacity. With this project, all diesel production at this refinery will be of the S-10 type, whose sulfur content is lower than that of S-500 diesel, which will no longer be produced.
The contract was signed on May 9, and since then, the teams from the Toyo Setal HDT Paulínia Consortium have already started to develop the work, whose delivery period is 40 months.
The scope of the contract includes the supply of goods and the provision of services related to the preparation of the executive project, construction, assembly and disassembly, revamp, commissioning, pre-operation and start-up support, assisted operation and supply of goods for the HDT 4 project.
“The contract is on an EPC basis. We are already starting the acquisition of the main equipment and in the initial phase of mobilization. The work should generate approximately 1.300 direct jobs”, highlights Carlos Stampa, business development manager at Toyo Setal.
