Criticisms and Deadlines of the New Investment in Minas Gerais
Despite bringing several benefits, the Belo Horizonte Bypass works have faced criticism from the municipalities of Contagem and Betim, which point out issues related to neighborhood divisions and social impacts on local communities.
The president of the concessionaire responsible for the works assesses that all issues are being evaluated in the preparation of the executive project and that corrections or changes determined by the Foundation for the Environment may arise, which will be discussed over the coming months.
According to Paes, the company has specialized consulting, the material was submitted on February 28, and Feam has a one-year period to analyze and raise its questions. The deadline is running.
