The survey released by FGTAS shows that the industrial sector offers the most opportunities, with 35% of available job openings. This is followed by services (28%) and commerce (25%), confirming the progress of economic recovery in the state.

RS also emphasizes inclusion: 252 vacancies are exclusive for people with disabilities, and 7,885 accept candidates with disabilities, according to official data from FGTAS.
Regarding salaries, 64% of opportunities offer remuneration between 1 and 1.5 minimum wages, with the possibility of growth and benefits depending on the role. This range represents the predominant standard in current state hires.
Porto Alegre and Metropolitan Area Concentrate Over 3,000 Vacancies
In the Porto Alegre Metropolitan Area, the outlook is even more promising. FGTAS/Sine units gather 3,283 job vacancies, with 2,667 permanent and 602 temporary. There are also 13 internship vacancies and one for Young Apprentice.
The services sector dominates hiring in the region, accounting for 41% of opportunities, followed by industry (26%) and commerce (21%). Additionally, 79% of vacancies do not require experience, and 14% waive minimum education, opening space for candidates of different profiles.
Among the cities with the most vacancies are Nova Santa Rita (965), Porto Alegre (365), Dois Irmãos (223), Sapucaia do Sul (181), and Campo Bom (180).

The highlights among the 10,000 job vacancies are for positions such as logistics assistant (694 vacancies), production line feeder (419), and cashier (130). Among the most sought-after professions are retail salesperson (99), store and market attendant (90), and construction worker (80).
