In Ceará, a Notice for the Docas CE Contest Was Released and It Includes 85 Available Positions for the Dock Guard Position for Those with Primary Education, the Minimum Required Education Level. Registrations Opened This Friday, January 27, and Will Continue Until March 6.
The positions range from immediate to creating a reserve list. However, 7 positions are for PPP and 2 for people with disabilities +48 CR. The work schedule amounts to 180 hours per month and the earnings for this position are R$1,677.55 plus a 40% risk additional. Thus, among the required duties and functions are:
- Prevent the docking of any vessel not authorized by the competent authorities, except in case of emergency, requesting immediate instructions from their hierarchical superiors;
- Operate with care and accuracy the electronic equipment at the service posts and report any changes occurring during the shift that relate to their operation;
- Wear the uniform correctly, according to the Uniform Plan of the Dock Guard, and observe the posture and personal presentation norms;
- Immediately inform their hierarchical superiors of any irregularity or abnormality that they may notice within their duties and the specific mission of their post;
- Act as an executing agent within the Firefighting Group (GCI), under the direct orders of the Head of GCI (Shift Supervisor), in initial actions in cases of fires;
- Monthly work schedule established for a total of 24 hours of labor, a rest period of 72 hours, totaling 180 hours/month of effective duty.
- Carry out ostensible surveillance, as a member of the Armed Security team, of the areas and facilities of the Port of Fortaleza, as provided in the duties of the post, strictly guarding the property and items existing or stored;
- Prevent entry and presence in the premises of unauthorized people and vehicles;
- Prevent entry and exit from the port of vehicles loaded that do not present valid documentation for the transported goods;
- Check volumes of any nature carried in the port facilities, detaining the bearer and requesting the immediate presence of the Shift Supervisor or the Security Inspector in cases where there is suspicion of irregularity;
Tests and Registration
The tests will occur in two stages. In the first phase, candidates will be subjected to:
- Objective knowledge test composed of multiple-choice questions and an essay. Both are eliminatory;
- The second phase will involve a physical aptitude test and also a psychological evaluation;
- Submission of medical exams (toxicological) with evaluation by the board in an eliminatory capacity;

- Professional training course;
