Although the higher scholarship amount attracts attention, most opportunities are concentrated at the BET N4 level, intended for technological extension scholarship holders in the field.
The BET N6 level is reserved for professionals with a stricto sensu postgraduate degree, who will act as academic advisors for the project.
Scholarship Values and Operation of the ALI Rural Program
For the BET N4 level, the monthly scholarship is R$ 5,000.
The announcement provides for 53 immediate vacancies and 759 positions in a reserve list, distributed across regional hubs in various cities in São Paulo.
The duration is 12 months, with direct work in the field and monitoring of rural producers served by the program.
In the case of BET N6, the scholarship is R$ 6,500 per month.
This group has 22 reserve positions, aimed at guiding field scholarship holders and providing academic support for the expected deliverables, such as articles and case studies related to the actions developed in the project.
The expected duration of the scholarship is 11 months.
The announcement also states that the scholarship amount already considers operational costs of the activity, such as travel, meals in the field, participation in training, use of a notebook, smartphone, and internet access.
Furthermore, Sebrae clarifies that the scholarship is a donation, without the configuration of an employment relationship.
Who Can Apply for the R$ 5,000 Positions
The BET N4 positions require a completed degree from a course recognized by the MEC, in areas such as agronomic engineering, forestry engineering, food engineering, fishing engineering, agricultural engineering, environmental engineering, surveying engineering, veterinary medicine, animal science, agribusiness management, technology in agribusiness, technology in food, technology in agro-industries, biosystems engineering, and agricultural sciences.
In addition to the education, the candidate must prove at least six months of professional experience at the higher education level in management, entrepreneurship, innovation, or small businesses.
It is also necessary to be available to make on-site visits to rural properties.
The work involves applying the project’s methodology, monitoring the companies served, and recording the results obtained throughout the cycle.
Among the expected duties, the scholarship holder must identify and engage producers to participate in the project.
They will also be responsible for monitoring a base of companies and rural properties, applying diagnostic tools, guiding the implementation of solutions, and feeding the monitoring platform defined by Sebrae-SP.
Requirements for the R$ 6,500 Scholarship at Sebrae
The opportunities for BET N6 have a more academic and technical profile.
To compete for these positions, it is necessary to have a completed stricto sensu postgraduate degree in agricultural sciences, from a course recognized by the MEC.
A minimum experience of 12 months in management, entrepreneurship, innovation, rural small businesses, or related business and institutional activities is also required.
The announcement also requires experience in technical and academic guidance, including guidance on works such as theses, dissertations, or papers.
These professionals should support field agents, especially in publications and other activities linked to the project’s work plan.
This division shows that the process is not limited to visits to rural properties.
The program also incorporates an academic axis, with the production of studies and dissemination of results obtained from the innovation actions implemented with small businesses in the field.
