The mining company Vale, in collaboration with the National Service for Industrial Learning of Rio de Janeiro (Senai-RJ), opened applications for completely free professional qualification courses. The opportunities are available for those who wish to enhance their skills in specific areas.

In total, 50 spots are offered, divided between the courses of Digital Marketing Assistant and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, with 25 spots for each. The free courses are aimed at residents of the Mangaratiba region, located on the Costa Verde of the state.

Who Can Participate in Senai’s Free Courses?

To enroll in the free courses of Digital Marketing Assistant, candidates must be over 18 years old, reside in Mangaratiba, and have completed at least the 1st year of High School. For the course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, interested individuals must have completed at least the 7th grade of Elementary School.

What Will Students Learn?

In the Digital Marketing Assistant course, participants will learn to develop strategies, plan campaigns, and map online user behavior, as well as produce specific content for social media.

On the other hand, those enrolled in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course will have access to content focused on fostering creativity and developing projects that promote innovative solutions in the workplace.

Relationship Between the Course and Vale

Classes for both courses will be held in person at the Coronel Moreira da Silva Municipal School. Meetings are scheduled to take place from Monday to Friday, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Vale emphasizes that completing the courses does not imply hiring by the company, as the initiative is exclusively aimed at professional qualification.

Required Documents for Registration

Candidates must present the following documents to register:

Official photo ID (RG or CNH);
Original CPF;
Proof of residence;
Proof of education;
Valid personal email;
In the case of persons with disabilities (PcD), it is necessary to present an updated medical report specifying the condition, to ensure inclusion in the registration process. However, the company states that presenting the report does not guarantee a reserved spot or any type of preference in the selection process, as stipulated by current legislation (Law 13.146/15).

Objective of the Initiative by Vale and Senai

This project is part of the Job Market Preparation Program (PPMT), an initiative aimed at contributing to the socioeconomic development of the communities where Vale operates, expanding employment opportunities and income generation.

Registration: Ends TODAY September 18

Applications must be made in person by TODAY, Wednesday, September 18, at Rua Nilo Peçanha, 162. It is important to highlight that classes are set to begin on September 30, and the deadline to secure a spot is limited, requiring prompt action from interested individuals.
